Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 130 - South Oakland County, MI (public)

The Fraternal Order of Police, Michigan's South Oakland County Lodge 130, is located in Ferndale, MI (map). Currently there are over 500 Active members, Associate members, Auxiliary members, and Retired members. Lodge 130 consists of Law Enforcement officers representing departments from Berkley, Birmingham, Canadian National Railroad, Clawson, Detroit, Ferndale, Grand Trunk Railroad, Hazel Park, Highland Park, Homeland Security, Huntington Woods, Immigrations & Customs Enforcement, Inkster, Macomb County Sheriff, Madison Heights, Marlette, Michigan Department of Corrections, Michigan State Police, Norfolk Southern Railroad, Oak Park, Oakland County Sheriff, Pleasant Ridge, Romulus, Royal Oak, Southfield, Sterling Heights, Troy, US Customs & Border Protection, US Marshal Service, Veteran's Affairs, Wayne County Community College Police Authority and Wayne County Sheriff.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Congratulation to FOP 130 Brother Earl Sparkman on receiving the Herb Adams Member of the Year Award for 2009. The award was designed to recognize outstanding service to one's home Lodge, either from a Regular Member or an Associate Member. Nominations must be submitted by the local Lodge Presidents. FOP 130 President Patrick Lemke was happy to nominate Earl on behalf of the Lodge for the award.
